These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the On The Go Mobile Mechanic website and the mobile mechanic services we provide. By contacting us, requesting service, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
Services
On The Go Mobile Mechanic provides mobile automotive diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and inspection services in Summerville, Charleston, and surrounding South Carolina communities. Availability depends on appointment load, parts availability, location, and whether the requested work is suitable for mobile service. We will tell you honestly if a repair is beyond mobile scope.
Estimates and Approval
Rough estimates provided by phone, text, or email are for planning purposes only and are not binding. Accurate pricing for most repairs requires on-site diagnosis. We will present the cost to you before beginning any repair work, and no work will proceed without your approval.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service once the repair is complete. We accept credit cards, debit cards, cash, and common digital payment options including Venmo, Zelle, and Cash App. You are responsible for full payment for services rendered and parts supplied.
Warranty
Most repairs include a lifetime parts and labor warranty. Warranty coverage varies based on the vehicle, the part type, and the nature of the repair; wear items subject to normal degradation may have different terms. We will explain the applicable warranty when your repair is complete. The warranty covers defects in parts we supplied and workmanship on repairs we performed; it does not cover unrelated failures, misuse, neglect, accident, or work performed by others.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate vehicle information, service address, and a description of the issue
- Ensure the vehicle is accessible on flat, solid ground with room to work and keys available
- Have someone present who is authorized to approve the repair
Limitation of Liability
On The Go Mobile Mechanic performs all work with reasonable care and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of the services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, unrelated component failures, or consequential damages.
Privacy
Your use of our services and this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not share your contact information or SMS opt-in consent with third parties.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
